Her 1st Embarrassing Question

A few days ago...Leen asked her dad..."Why do boys have something different than girls down there?"

And he simply answered "Coz God made boys pee from here, while girls pee from there"

Thats it.

Simple question gets a simple answer.

With my brain set i would probably give much longer more detailed answers... but i guess that was the most suitable answer for a little girl turning 4 in a couple of month.

THUMBS UP DADDYY!! :)

Breast vs chest

On our way back from the pool. Leen wanted to sleep. So seif my cousins son asked her if she wanted to sleep fe 7odnu. So she said noo...u dont have a breast! :) funnyy

Do it yourself

Today Leen decided to do her own laundry. She put her load of SINGLE PAJAMA and undershirt in the washing machine.

THEN... she put washing detergent in the machine drawer which ofcourse resulted in spilling some soap.

So she fetched her broom and collecting bin in order to clean up her mess which ofcourse only made it worse.

She gave up on the cleaning and called me seeking help. SOOO i went to see what happened and soon enough i saw the mess.

When i almost scolded her for the mess thinking that she was playing with the soap i asked her what happened and she  explained what she has been trying to do.

I totally changed my mind about the scolding part and told her not to do this again coz she placed too much soap and she spilt on the ground... let alone that her load is too little.

She just reminded me of Sebastian from the Little Mermaid.. "If you want something done... you gotta do it... Yourself! "

Love her

Independance

We were in the club the other day... had to go for some reason at 12pm which is scortching hot.

Leen insisted on going on the swings...no prob.

Then she decided to move to the slide which i was sure would burn her butt off.

So she went up 2 steps of the ladder and i got out of my feet knowing that when she goes up and touches the slide she will wanna come down again on the ladder.(which isnt too easy for her)

However... as i stood up i saw leen coming DOWN the second step. She went back to the ground...turned to the other side and touched the slide to check if it was too hot or suitable to slide on.

Turns out it WAS too hot and she turned away saying "de sokhna awi" ie its too hot.

I was fascinated....and stunned. This girl at the age of 3.5 amazes me day in and day out. May god bless her always.

New Milestone

Yesterday was the first time i see leen getting up on the potty all by herself.

It was so great. She takes her pants and unders off and pulls herself up on the potty.
She also tries to wash herself...but i always do it again incase she didnt do it too well.
She also take tissues to dry herself..but its always a very small piece and hence doesnt dry herself enough.

Still its so much fun to feel like to she trying to be independant AND actually succeeding.

This is our new milestone. I can now safely tell her to go herself and when shes done to call me.

More fun for her more relaxation for me....YAAAAAY!

YOU GOOO GIRLLL. I LOOOVE YOU

Complaining to dad

Im a relatively new car driver and henxe there are some things that i dare not do...such as drive the car backwards out of a garage.

So a couple of weeks ago i was going out with leen and mohamed was at work. After reaching the car i realized it was parked front rnd inside the garage. Tried to look for the garage keeper but couldnt find him. So i called mhmd telling him my situation and if he can give me some tips or ideas to get the car out safely. He voted to call the garage keeper so he can bring it out.

So i hung up and waited. Leen in the backseat then opened her toy mobile and called her dad (pretending ofcourse) and said " dad...mom doesnt know how to drive... she cant drive the car out....yeah..yeahh shes doesnt know how" ( pappy...mummy mesh 3arfa tesooo2...aywa...heya mesh bete3raf...tayeb bye).

Lol..even though i was so pissed off...i still couldnt hold the laughter.

Literal leen

While we were in the car this morning on our way to my cousins house...leen was sitting in the middle of the back seat with safety belts strapped. While taking turns she tumbles over to the sides. So she keeps on complaining " ana ba2a3". So her dad told her the next time i take a turn i will tell u "3ashan temskey nafsek".

The next turn came and he told her "yalla hanlef..emseky nafsek" so i turned to look how shes doing so only to find her holding her leg down with her hand...we maska nafsaaaha...looool. couldnt stop laughing.

These kids are hilarious

Bionic Memory.

While we were in sharm shopping... and while my sis was bending over looking at something... leen passed by and slapped her on the butt. Heidi (my sis) could not belive it and scolded her.

When her daddy interrogated her and tried to understand why she did that... she told him that she saw him slap me on the butt in the kitchen at her grandparents place.

That incident was months ago. We couldnt believe she could remember that...

It also means that we should REALLLLY be careful what we do ALL the time around her. Loooool

U cant forget

Last thursday in sharm we went to the pool. Me heidi mhmd and the kids. The pool had a baby section separated by a couple of tile blocks from the adult pool. Kids can easily walk from one pool to another. But ofcourse they had their arm floaters on at all times.

Leen wonders independantly in the pool. She moved from here to there.

A couple of minutes later while chatting i saw mohamed gasp looking in leens direction. As i looked towards her i saw her carrying her floaters and coming towards us from between the tile blocks holding the floaters for us to take. I screamed  out telling her to stay where she is and not come but it was just useless. She kept on moving and we all swam towards her.

Ofcourse it took us a couple of secs to get there but i saw her slide in the deep end and start drowning. She was peddling so hard to get her face out but it was useless.

Heidi was the first to get ot her and pulled her up.  Ofcourse she started crying and freaked out and wanted the floaters on her arms as soon as possible. She wouldnt let anyone touch the floaters once they were on her.

She was fine. But i must admit it is scary to think what if no one saw her... what if the pool was bigger.... its soo scary to remember that scene. Sooo scary.
